Desert Mountain New Build

This was a ground-up build, which means every decision was open: how the house meets the slope, where the light lands in the afternoon, how the interior opens onto the desert beyond it. We coordinated with the architect and design team from the earliest drawings so the intent behind the plan survived into the finished structure.

Framing was set out with the finishes already in mind, and material selections were made early enough to be sourced properly rather than substituted late. John oversaw the build on site throughout.
